MIRTO XP
solutions for agricultural productivity
About us
A bridge between the Americas and Europe, and a clear commitment to European agriculture.
MIRTOXP was created to bring to Italy what growers in the United States and Chile have relied on for decades: assisted pollination as a structured, measurable and profitable agronomic practice.
Our story
We're not starting from scratch. We're bringing 97 years of experience to Europe.
Mirto SRL was founded in 2025 with a specific goal: to close the gap between European agriculture and the assisted pollination practices already established in North and South America.
Our partners are not startups. Antles, based in the United States, has been in business for 97 years and serves 50,000 hectares a year. Zimex, in Chile, manages more than 3,000 hectares and grows 25% a year. What we bring to Italy is not an idea — it's a method proven at commercial scale in the United States and Chile.
In 2025 the University of Bologna ran an experimental field study in Italy, commissioned by Zimex and co-funded by Corfo, with statistically robust results on cherry and kiwi. The next step is to build that same trust with Italian and European growers.

Who drives MIRTO XP
Andrés Bustos
Managing partner and European
representative of Europollen.
Andrés Bustos brings to MIRTOXP international experience in agriculture and first-hand knowledge of the U.S., Chilean and European markets. As Europollen's European representative, he connects his partners' global expertise with the specific needs of Italian and European growers.
His goal is not to sell a product — it is to introduce a farming practice that Europe has not yet adopted at scale, but that the data shows is already mature.
