Guano Rosso Fossilizzato

Natural fertilizer from fossilized guano, rich in phosphorus.

Chemical composition (typical values, dry matter basis)
Function and benefits
  • Broad-spectrum natural fertilizer, especially suited to soils low in phosphorus and calcium.

  • Helps restore degraded soils.

  • Odorless; practically non-toxic to people and animals.

  • Stable material: can be stored indefinitely.

Recommended doses per crop

To improve soil structure and fertility only (general use), the indicative rate is 1–1.5 t/ha, depending on soil type.

How to apply
  • Fruit trees: banded at the base of the plant, 8–12 cm (3–5 in) deep.

  • Vegetables: banded 15–20 days before seeding or transplanting.

  • Timing: pre-bloom for most crops; during bloom for later-blooming crops (e.g., kiwi, pistachio).

  • Precautions: wear a dust mask, gloves and safety glasses when handling.
