Dori kiwi: yield per vine more than doubled.
The problem
Kiwi is a dioecious crop — it needs outside pollen to set fruit. The Dori variety depends heavily on pollination quality: without a structured approach, yield stays well below the plant's potential.
The solution
Assisted pollination with certified pollen, applied in a controlled way during bloom on the Dori variety.
The result
From 10.33 kg to 21.53 kg per vine: +108% yield. (Field trial by the University of Bologna in Italy, commissioned by Zimex and co-funded by Corfo, 2025)
