Available methods

• Hive entrance: the bees carry the pollen, for insect-pollinated species.

• Mechanized (air-blast sprayer/blower): 6+ hectares (about 15 acres) per load, fast application along the rows.

• Electrostatic: for conditions where bee flight is limited; requires specific equipment so the pollen doesn't overheat.

• Drone: for wind-pollinated species (hazelnut, walnut, pistachio), wet or dry application depending on the model.
